Today is Veteran's day. I remember my father telling me about his experiences in WWII. I can't begin to imagine what it was like to sail the pacific, land at Iwo-Jima, see friends killed violently, walk along the bloody beach, and face down aircraft bent on your death. I've spoken to the Vietnam Vets; again slogging through the jungle, crawling in rathole tunnels, and living wet every day. My nephew is in Iraq, he talks about being board and frightened at the same time, with an enemy who you can't tell from your friends. War is hell. Yet, these men (and women) have endured it. They've seen death at its worst, boredom and the extreme, and unimaginable terror... for our freedom. It has been said
